Walking Through Lush Country Lanes to Whitsand Bay
After breakfast, head out from WilderMe through peaceful country lanes lined with wildflowers and hedgerows. The air here is crisp and invigorating, carrying the scent of the sea mixed with fresh greenery. As you approach Whitsand Bay, the landscape opens up to reveal sweeping views of the ocean. This section of the walk is a highlight for those who appreciate the quiet beauty of Cornwall’s countryside.
At Whitsand Bay, take a break at The Clifftop Cafe. Here, you can enjoy a coffee and a slice of homemade cake while gazing out over the panoramic coastline. The cafe’s location offers one of the best spots to soak in the ocean views and watch the waves crash against the cliffs below.
Following the Coast Path to Rame Head
From Whitsand Bay, continue along the South West Coast Path. This stretch offers some of the most beautiful views on the Rame Peninsula. The path hugs the cliffs, providing uninterrupted vistas of the ocean and the rugged Cornish coastline. The fresh sea air and the sound of the waves create a peaceful backdrop as you walk.

Your destination is the iconic Rame Head, a headland that stands out for its breathtaking beauty. The views here are truly panoramic, stretching across the ocean and along the coast. It’s a perfect spot to pause, take photos, and appreciate the natural surroundings.
Exploring Kingsand and Cawsand Villages
After soaking in the scenery at Rame Head, descend along the coast path towards the villages of Kingsand and Cawsand. These quaint fishing villages offer a glimpse into Cornwall’s maritime heritage. Stroll through narrow streets lined with colourful cottages and friendly local shops.
Before continuing, stop at The Stores Deli to stock up on snacks for the rest of your stay with us. This deli is known for its selection of seasonal local and mediterranean produce, perfect for a quick energy boost or a picnic later on.
Dinner and a Refreshing Dip at The Bay Restaurant

End your day in Cawsand with a delicious dinner at The Bay Restaurant. This eatery focuses on fresh, local ingredients and offers a menu that highlights the best of Cornish cuisine. Whether you choose seafood or a hearty vegetarian dish, the meal is a fitting reward after a day of walking.
If the weather allows, take a refreshing dip in the sea nearby. The cool water is invigorating and a wonderful way to relax your muscles before the final leg of your journey.
