Description

I will be leading this retreat at WilderMe CIC, Makers Heights in SE Cornwall. The accommodation consists of 6 large Geodomes, with a communal dome for getting together. 

The retreat will start on the Friday afternoon and finish Monday morning.

The yoga

Practices will include Asanas, Meditation, Spinal Breathing Pranayama and Samyama as well as other yoga practices. The focus of the retreat will be on the cultivation of deep, abiding, inner silence and providing the opportunity to deepen ones practices. This retreat is suitable for people of all abilities from complete beginners through to advanced practitioners. Full instructions on practice will be given. 

The food

Food will be vegetarian - organic, locally sourced. The food served will support a yoga and meditation practice. We can also cater for vegan diets and special diets such as dairy- or gluten-free, if you let us know in advance. There will be one meal served each day (dinner) and fruit and hot drinks will be available all day.

The cost

Single occupancy: £365

Shared room ( 2 / 4 sharing ) : £305 per person

The cost includes accommodation, breakfast, dinner and all the yoga sessions.

A deposit of £100  is required to secure a place on this retreat.

What to bring 

There will be walks during the retreat, for people who enjoy walking. So bring some walking boots/shoes and suitable clothing if you would like to take part. Bring your own yoga mats, belts, cushions, bricks or any other supports that you need. A torch, hot water bottle recommended.

Retreat leader 

The retreat will be led by Sujata Mathur. I am a qualified AYP teacher with experience in teaching AYP ( Advanced yoga practices ) style of yoga.  Advanced Yoga Practices (AYP) is a full-scope system of yoga, Integrating asana (posture) practice with pranayama and meditation, AYP covers all of the eight limbs of yoga. The system includes practices that can be taken on by people who are new to yoga and takes people all the way through, to gradually build up an advanced level yoga practice.

All practices are voluntary. It is completely up to the individual whether one wants to participate in any of the practices.
