Retreats that will support you to find calm in the chaos of the modern world. Restoring your connection to nature, your tribe and yourself."Everyone’s mood lifted and I have never heard them all laugh so much."

WilderMe is a social enterprise in a unique place with a special mission to help calm busy minds and create tribes that thrive. You have incredible sea views from a meadow of wildflowers that’s home to deer, skylarks and all sorts of wildlife; firepits to sit out by as you watch the sunset over the sea. It’s a wonderful place to detach from the digital world and take time out to recoup and reignite a connection to nature. There’ll be pizza nights and maybe a gig on, and you can wander down to the local pub in the evening, although you should make sure you’re steady enough for the climb back up.
The six domes all share two showers and two compost loos in a trailer, but there are other toilet facilities available at the family campsite just over the hedge. A seventh dome serves as a communal space, with two double gas hobs and grills, cooking utensils, books, cards and seating. There are also firepits at each dome for cooking simple meals but it’s much more fun to let yourself be lured over to The Canteen at Maker Heights, where ex-River Cottage chef Nick Platt cooks up superb rustic food in the atmospheric setting of old Nissen huts. The Canteen is only one part of the creative community that calls Maker Heights home, with musicians, artists and artisans running social projects, studios and workshops in an old army barrack. It’s one of the things, along with the good cause, the feeling of warmth and inclusivity, and the simple magic of being wild and free in a beautiful part of the world, that makes WilderMe the sort of place we're sure you'll absolutely love.
